Job summary

Nouryon is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to define the strategy and architecture of the enterprise data platform in a Mexico-based, onsite role. You will shape data products, governance, and data quality while enabling AI workloads like GenAI/RAG across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in data engineering or architecture, 3–5 years at senior levels, and deep expertise in Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and transformation languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, platforms, or data architecture.
• 3–5 years at a senior/principal technical level owning strategy at an enterprise scale.
• Professional proficiency in English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and architecture of the enterprise data platform.
• Lead platform strategy and establish engineering standards across the organization.
• Implement real-time data pipelines and optimize transformation logic.
• Define DataOps and CI/CD processes for the data platform.
• Enable AI workloads with high‑quality, AI-ready data for ML and AI agents.
• Ensure governance, data quality, and cost/performance observability.
