Applaudo is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer in Mexico City to design and operate reliable data pipelines across cloud environments. You will own ETL and data integration tasks, work with REST APIs, and implement complex SQL checks to ensure data quality in our GCP-based warehouse.

The role requires 6+ years in data engineering, strong TS/Node.js and Python proficiency, and experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and robust CI/CD practices.

Formación

• 6+ years of Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Integration experience.
• Strong hands-on TypeScript/Node.js in production ETL environments.
• GCP data services experience including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
• REST API integrations with OAuth 2.0, pagination, error handling, retries.
• Advanced SQL for data validation across warehouse schemas.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and enhance production ETL pipelines linking REST APIs with a GCP data warehouse.
• Develop data integration components using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Create pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Implement transformation logic for billing events and subscription data.
• Maintain REST API integrations with robust auth, pagination, and retries.
• Monitor reliability with alerts, logging, and data quality checks.
• Write complex SQL for source-to-warehouse validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with architecture stakeholders on validation requirements and SQL checks.
