GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Engineer based in Mexico to lead migration and development of data pipelines. The role requires strong technical skills in BigQuery, Python, and SQL, with responsibilities including ETL/ELT pipeline optimization and integration of Orion datasets.

The ideal candidate has 12-15 years of IT experience and substantial hands-on Data Engineering expertise, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Formación

• 12–15 years of overall IT experience.
• 7–9 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the migration and expansion of Adobe-based data pipelines.
• Integrate Orion datasets into existing enterprise data platforms.
• Design and develop new pipelines for Orion event collection and processing.
• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines across hybrid environments (GCP, AWS, Snowflake).
• Develop scalable data solutions using Python, SQL, BigQuery, and Airflow/Composer.
• Establish data quality checks, validation logic, and reconciliation processes.
• Optimize pipeline performance, compute usage, storage tiering, and BigQuery query costs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and data architecture.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, BI, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
