Jobot is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the next evolution of our data ecosystem, spanning ingestion pipelines to analytics platforms. You’ll influence decisions by building scalable data infrastructure and easy access to information for product, analytics, and finance teams.

You’ll lead data system design, standardize metrics, and enable internal and external data products. Hybrid remote work, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities await.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional data/analytics engineering experience.
• Translate business needs into technical data solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in relational, dimensional, and semantic data modeling.
• Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
• Advanced SQL skills with complex transformations.
• Experience with DBT for modular transformations.
• Proficiency with Airflow and data ingestion tools (Airbyte, Fivetran, Kafka).
• AWS experience (S3, RDS, Redshift).
• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, and containerized workflows.
• Knowledge of JSON, Parquet, ORC formats.
• Experience building semantic layers for self-serve analytics.
• BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Sisense.
• Proficient in Python and Unix/Linux scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable data systems from ingestion to analytics.
• Define the data engineering technical roadmap for scalability.
• Standardize metrics and data definitions across teams.
• Enable financial forecasting, operational reporting, and product analytics.
• Create dashboards and self-serve analytics with external data products.
• Manage data lifecycle from ingestion to visualization.
• Develop tools for transparency and trusted reporting.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS).
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security.
• Champion best practices in data engineering and continuous improvement.
