Schneider Electric in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Analyst, Customs Operations for a 1-year temporal position to ensure compliant import/export processes across borders and align with manufacturing sites, logistics providers and brokers.

The role focuses on customs compliance, trade expertise, and logistics coordination to support business continuity and customer satisfaction, with a hybrid work model and cross-functional collaboration across the supply chain.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs operations or trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, Pedimentos, HS codes, and import/export documentation.
• Experience with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Advanced intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher).
• Professional certifications such as OEA, CTPAT desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for manufacturing sites and internal stakeholders regarding international shipments and customs requirements.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to prepare, review, validate, and approve import/export documentation.
• Review and interpret customs declarations (pedimentos) and ensure accurate tariff classification of products.
• Build and maintain complete customs files and record-keeping documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor customs clearance activities and follow up on shipments until final delivery.
• Collaborate with transportation providers to ensure timely movement of goods across international and domestic networks.
• Serve as the first escalation point for shipment discrepancies, including shortages, overages, damages, or customs-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on trade compliance, logistics efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and business requirements.
