Schneider Electric in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Analyst, Customs Operations on a one-year temporary contract. The role sits in a hybrid model (2 days in office, 3 days remote) with office options at Polanco Hub or East Mexico City Manufacturing Site.

You will manage day-to-day import/export, liaise with sites and brokers, review pedimentos, and drive compliance and efficiency across global supply chains.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs operations or trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, pedimentos, tariff codes and import/export docs.
• Experience with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day import and export operations with compliance to regulations.
• Act as main contact for sites and internal stakeholders on shipments.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to prepare and review docs.
• Review and interpret pedimentos and tariff classifications.
• Maintain complete customs files and audit-ready records.
• Monitor clearance activities and follow shipments to final delivery.
• Collaborate with transportation providers for timely movement.
• Serve as escalation point for shipment discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement in trade compliance and logistics efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory and business alignment.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

Advanced English proficiency (B2 or higher)

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication and stakeholder management

Collaborative and service-oriented mindset

Proactive approach to issue resolution
