Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Risk Manager III to shape a new credit-risk program for a high-growth consumer financial product. You will own credit origination strategy, portfolio lifecycle management, and data-driven underwriting policies within the Payments organization.

You will lead champion/challenger experiments, analyze portfolio analytics, and partner with legal, finance, and technology to ensure profitable growth with controlled risk.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience within financial services and payment institutions.
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously and driving goals to completion.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the end-to-end origination policy and pricing rules for the credit product.
• Own the portfolio lifecycle strategy with proactive line adjustments and delinquency prevention.
• Build and execute champion/challenger testing for origination and model feeding analyses.
• Monitor origination funnel, vintage health, and loss forecasts, escalating risks as needed.
• Partner with legal, regulatory, finance, and technology to align risk programs with policy.
