Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. Gomez Palacio, Durango location is seeking a full-time Cost Analyst responsible for cost accounting support and reporting. You will handle standard cost files, cost of sales, variances, and monthly accruals, working closely with auditors and finance teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing accounting, knowledge of IMMEX and Mexican tax, and familiarity with SAP, IBM Planning Analytics and MS Office. This is a on-site position in Gomez Palacio, Durango.

Formación

• Three to five years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of IMMEX operations and/or procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Mexican Tax laws.
• Basics of invoicing requirements under Mexican law.
• Basic knowledge of Cost Centers control environment.
• Knowledge of PC hardware and software programs including Microsoft Office, SAP, and IBM Planning Analytics preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains standard manufacturing cost files for items manufactured in this location for pricing, inventory and scrap valuation purposes.
• Prepares numerous reports for management on labor, material, and overhead; investigates variances to budget.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly cost of sales through operating margin and product line reconciliations.
• Works as part of a Cost Accounting team following GAAP and company policy; interacts with internal and external auditors.
• Develops monthly accruals and journal entries for obsolescence and inventory changes.
• Establishes and evaluates labor and overhead rates; updates standards with new rates annually.
• Summarizes actual and budget costs on expense ARs and labor allocation reports.
• Provides expertise and resources for other special projects as needed.
