Job summary

Delinea is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Engineering team. You will own the reliability of multiple production SaaS services running in Azure and AWS across regions, focusing on measuring reliability, tuning detection, incident response, and reducing manual work.

You will define SLOs/SLIs, build monitoring stacks, automate responses, and participate in on-call rotations. Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, and Azure DevOps is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in SRE/DevOps for SaaS products.
• Hands-on Azure experience across AKS, App Service, SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, Storage.
• Datadog or equivalent observability platform experience; writing queries.
• Ownership of SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for services.
• Incident response and postmortem writing experience.
• Kubernetes production skills (ingress, deployments, troubleshooting).
• Terraform IaC and Azure DevOps CI/CD setup and troubleshooting.
• Scripting in PowerShell & Python; fluent in YAML/JSON.
• Strong networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS, load balancing, firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability for a set of production SaaS services end-to-end.
• Define and track SLOs/SLIs and error budgets with cross-functional teams.
• Build and tune monitoring, dashboards, and alert routing to reduce mean time to detect.
• Automate response and convert runbooks to code-driven workflows.
• Lead on-call rotations and incident response; write post-incident reports.
• Troubleshoot escalations using logs, traces, and metrics; provide evidence-based routing.
• Maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Oversee cloud cost management (Azure/AWS) and observability data retention policies.
• Collaborate with Support, Security, Product, and Development to ship observable services.
