Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions, part of ICON Clinical Research, is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to lead trial delivery in a sponsor-dedicated model. You will manage global trials in cell therapy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive start-up, enrollment, and study execution with a focus on quality and timelines.

You will develop monitoring plans, coach CRAs, oversee budgets, and build strong relationships with Sponsors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in a global Clinical Trial Management role within a pharmaceutical company or sponsor setting.
• Experience in managing Cell Therapy studies.
• Vendor management experience with budget oversight.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sponsors, vendors and internal teams.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the budget for the clinical portion and ensure efficient resource use.
• Develop monitoring plans and ensure effective study oversight.
• Mentor and coach CRAs to improve performance.
• Drive study start-up and enrollment, meeting timelines.
• Review trip reports and implement CAPA where needed.
• Foster relationships with Sponsors, vendors and cross-functional teams.
