Donaldson Company is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead the Castings procurement for The Americas. You will interface with all levels, drive strategy, and negotiate with suppliers to secure supply and favorable total cost.

You will analyze markets, manage supplier performance, and collaborate with plant and distribution teams to ensure efficient, profitable operations across Donaldson's global footprint. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of professional-level sourcing experience.
• Strong data analytics skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Advanced English level; automotive or manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Defines procurement strategy for the Castings Commodity to meet supply and financial goals.
• Monitors markets and refines commodity strategies.
• Negotiates to achieve best total cost and continuous supply.
• Communicates strategies and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manages pricing in line with market conditions and inputs.
• Drives year-over-year cost reductions with suppliers.
• Identifies and develops suppliers aligned to objectives.
• Uses performance data to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
• Supports plants and distribution centers for efficient operations.
• Leverages risk tools to mitigate supply risks.
