Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an Accountant in Querétaro, Mexico to analyze financial information and prepare reports determining assets, liabilities, profits and loss, and tax obligations. You will participate in month-end closings under US-GAAP, perform GL reconciliations, and support SOX controls while collaborating with the General Accounting team.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, a BS/BA in a relevant field, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• BS/BA degree and 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and adaptable to process changes.

Responsibilities

• Participating in assigned accounting and month end closing processes under US-GAAP.
• Performing accounting activities with the team and ensuring accuracy.
• Providing daily and monthly reports and assisting General Accounting colleagues.
• Executing month-end closings, GL analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations; supporting SOX controls.
• Liaising with vendors and customers on fixed asset issues and other tasks as assigned.
