Job summary

Flowserve, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mexico) is seeking an Accountant to analyse financial information and prepare reports to record assets, liabilities, and profit and loss. You will participate in month-end closing under US-GAAP and collaborate with the General Accounting team.

The role requires strong English communication, experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) is a plus, and solid MS Office skills. A BS/BA with 3–5 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Experience with month-end closing under US-GAAP is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• ERP systems familiarity (Oracle or SAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in assigned accounting and month-end closing processes under US-GAAP.
• Perform accounting activities with the team.
• Provide daily and monthly reports to General Accounting colleagues.
• Perform month-end closings, GL analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations; prepare SOX controls.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding fixed asset issues.
• Assist with any issues affecting timely month-end closing.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.
