Flowserve in Queretaro, MX is seeking a Cash Application Accountant to analyse financial information and prepare reports confirming assets, liabilities, and P&L within US-GAAP guidelines. You will collaborate with the General Accounting team on month-end closings and reconciliations, while maintaining relationships with vendors and customers on fixed-asset issues.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

Formación

• BS or BA degree in relevant field.
• 3–5 years relevant accounting experience.
• US-GAAP month-end close experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participating in assigned accounting and month end closing processes under US-GAAP.
• Performing accounting activities with the team.
• Providing daily and monthly reports and assisting General Accounting colleagues.
• Performing month-end closings, GL analysis, and Balance Sheet reconciliations; preparing SOX controls.
• Maintaining ongoing contact with vendors and customers regarding fixed asset issues.
• Assisting with issue resolution that could impact timely month-end closing.
• Other tasks as assigned.
