Johnson & Johnson in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage material purchases and supplier coordination for production. You will interpret material requirements, generate and monitor purchase orders, and support inventory control to sustain manufacturing lines.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in planning/purchasing, strong knowledge of JDE and SAP, and bilingual English/Spanish. The role involves collaboration with multiple plant teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Formación

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Public Accountant, Industrial Engineer or related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar buyer/planning position.
• Proficient in planning, purchasing and supplier collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Daily management of material requirements and supplier purchase orders.
• Coordinate with production planning to align material arrivals with schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and expedite materials when needed.
• Resolve discrepancies with accounts payable and suppliers.

We are searching for the best talent for Senior Buyer

Purpose

Responsible to, performs the supplying of materials for production, maintains and interprets the material requirement planning system on daily and weekly basis, generating and monitoring purchase orders with external suppliers. This position will have responsibilities across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a span of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.

You will be responsible for

• Daily interaction with production and planning.
• Daily interaction with internal and external suppliers.
• Interprets MRP requirements.
• Manages inventory levels to comply with production and finances requirements.
• Expedites materials.
• Solves material rejection and quality problems.
• Coordinates consignation inventories.
• Solves discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
• For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Public Accountant, Industrial Engineer or related career.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS

• Experience in Planning and Purchasing.
• Knowledge of JDE & SAP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Self-driven and self-motivated.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
