Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Ciudad Juárez, MX is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage material sourcing for production within a broad Johnson & Johnson portfolio. You will interpret MRP, coordinate with suppliers, and drive on-time material availability for multiple product lines.

The role requires 5+ years in planning/purchasing, JDE/SAP knowledge, and bilingual English/Spanish communication, with a strong emphasis on compliance and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Public Accountant, Industrial Engineer or related career.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in Planning and Purchasing.
• Knowledge of JDE & SAP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Self-driven and self-motivated.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Daily interaction with production and planning.
• Daily interaction with internal and external suppliers.
• Interprets MRP requirements.
• Manages inventory levels to comply with production and finances requirements.
• Expedites materials.
• Solves material rejection and quality problems.
• Coordinates consignation inventories and resolves discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
• Communicates business related issues or opportunities to management.
• Ensures adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.

Purpose:

Responsible to, performs the supplying of materials for production, maintains and interprets the material requirement planning system on daily and weekly basis, generating and monitoring purchase orders with external suppliers.

This position will have responsibilities across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a span of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.

You will be responsible for:

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

• Daily interaction with production and planning.
• Daily interaction with internal and external suppliers.
• Interprets MRP requirements.
• Manages inventory levels to comply with production and finances requirements.
• Expedites materials.
• Solves material rejection and quality problems.
• Coordinates consignation inventories. o Solves discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
• For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. o Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Public Accountant, Industrial Engineer or related career.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.
