Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Buyer in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, to manage production material supply and maintain the material requirement planning system. The role spans ETHICON, Cardiovascular, and CSS units within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, covering diverse product platforms.

The successful candidate will oversee daily interactions with production, planning and suppliers, interpret MRP signals, and ensure inventory aligns with production and financial objectives.

Formación

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Public Accountant, Industrial Engineer or related field.
More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in Planning and Purchasing; knowledge of JDE and SAP systems.

Responsabilidades

Interact daily with production and planning teams.
Coordinate with internal and external suppliers.
Interpret MRP/requirements and manage inventory levels.
Expedite materials and resolve supply issues.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.

Purpose

Responsible to, performs the supplying of materials for production, maintains and interprets the material requirement planning system on daily and weekly basis, generating and monitoring purchase orders with external suppliers.

This position will have responsibilities across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a span of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.

You will be responsible for

Daily interaction with production and planning.
Daily interaction with internal and external suppliers.
Interprets MRP requirements.
Manages inventory levels to comply with production and finances requirements.
Expedites materials.
Solves material rejection and quality problems.
Coordinates consignation inventories. o Solves discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. o Performs other duties assigned as needed.
