Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You’ll sit between clients, product teams, and engineers, running discovery, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring solutions solve the intended problem.

You’ll work across client builds, maintenance engagements, and Bluelight’s internal products, shaping scope and estimates for new projects with a focus on SOC 2 compliance and secure, scalable

Formación

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in agile/Scrum.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.
• Hands-on experience with Jira; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable leading client meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
• Enough technical literacy to discuss APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, edge cases.
• Support new-project sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for estimation.
• Identify assumptions, risks, dependencies, and open questions early; drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Prioritize and groom the backlog with the Product Manager ahead of sprints.
• Collaborate with UI/UX in Figma to ensure flows match requirements and flag gaps.
• Answer engineering questions during the sprint and keep requirements current.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with clients and support sprint demos.
• Keep requirements docs organized in Google Drive for traceability.
• Capture SOC 2 and other compliance/security requirements as explicit criteria.
• Act as a trusted contact for clients on scope and requirements questions.
• Translate between business and technical audiences clearly and without jargon.
• Surface scope changes early and explain tradeoffs to team and client.
