Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to translate client needs into clear, buildable requirements. You will sit between clients, the product team, and engineers—driving discovery, process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet business goals.

You’ll work on client builds, maintenance engagements, and Bluelight’s internal products, shaping scoping and estimates from the outset. Strong English and API/databases literacy are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role on software projects.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.
• English proficiency for leading client meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
• Enough technical literacy to discuss APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with clients and internal teams to understand goals, workflows and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Support new-project sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for engineering estimates.
• Identify assumptions, risks, dependencies and questions early, and drive them to resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog ahead of each sprint.
• Work with UI/UX design in Figma to ensure flows match requirements and flag gaps before development.
• Coordinate QA to ensure acceptance criteria translate into solid test coverage.
• Assist sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.
• Keep requirements documentation organized in Google Drive with decisions and rationale.
• Ensure compliance, security, and audit requirements (SOC 2 considerations) are captured explicitly.
