Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You will sit between clients, product, and engineering to run discovery, map processes, and write user stories with acceptance criteria for delivery.

You'll work across client builds, maintenance engagements, and internal products, helping scope and estimate new projects and ensuring alignment with compliance and security considerations.

Formación

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar on software projects.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in agile/Scrum.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with clients and internal teams.
• Document current and future-state processes, rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Support sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for estimation.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and open questions early and drive resolution.
• Write user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Prioritize and groom backlog with Product Manager ahead of sprints.
• Collaborate with UI/UX design to ensure flows meet requirements.
• Answer engineering questions during sprint and keep requirements current with decisions.
• Coordinate with QA to translate criteria into tests.
• Support sprint demos and client user acceptance testing.
• Keep requirements docs organized in Google Drive.
• Capture SOC 2 compliance and audit requirements explicitly.
• Act as point of contact for scope and requirements for clients.
• Translate between business and tech audiences clearly.
• Surface scope changes early and explain tradeoffs.
