Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements across client projects and internal products. You’ll sit between clients, product teams, and engineers to run discovery, map processes, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensure what we ship solves the intended problem.

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level (flows, entities, relationships, rules).
• Hands-on Jira experience; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; capable of leading client meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
• Experience in an agency, consultancy, or software services environment juggling multiple clients.
• Exposure to SOC 2, telecom/outbound compliance, education, fintech domains.
• Experience writing requirements for integrations with third-party platforms.
• Familiarity with Laravel, React and AWS; ability to discuss APIs and databases with engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand goals and pain points.
• Document current and future state processes, business rules, and data definitions.
• Break scope into epics and stories to aid accurate sizing by engineering.
• Identify risks, dependencies and open questions early and resolve them.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to groom the backlog before sprints.
• Coordinate with UI/UX in Figma to ensure flows match requirements.
• Answer engineering questions during sprints and keep requirements current.
• Work with QA to ensure acceptance criteria translate into test coverage.
• Support sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.
• Organize requirements docs in Google Drive for traceability.
• Capture SOC 2 and compliance considerations as explicit requirements.
