Elsevier Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our backend team, focusing on Java and Spring Boot to design scalable services powering health education products. You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with product and architecture, and deliver reliable APIs with strong observability.

This hybrid role offers opportunities to mentor engineers, work across delivery lanes such as Courseware and Sherpath, and contribute to a culture of quality engineering and inclusive teamwork.

Formación

• Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building scalable RESTful services and data modeling in PostgreSQL.
• Ability to own features end-to-end, from design to production.
• Experience with distributed architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent debugging, collaboration, and communication skills.
