Zillow Group Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Specialist, Software Engineering, Back End to design, build, and operate scalable backend services powering consumer experiences across brands.

You will lead server-side development, improve performance, and collaborate closely with product, data, and infra teams to support millions of users and enhance developer productivity. • Experienced backend engineer with 5+ years building scalable backend services for consumer-facing products.
• Proficient in Go (preferred) and at least one of TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes, event streams (Kafka), IaC (Terraform), and AWS.
• Proven ability to own services in production, improve reliability, and write clear design docs.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build distributed backend services and APIs.
• Own GraphQL schemas and data contracts across web and mobile platforms.
• Operate data pipelines and ensure fault tolerance and throughput at scale.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to balance velocity and durability.
