Spin Careers is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize medium-complexity software components in a backend environment. You will build scalable APIs, implement containerized solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

You will work in an agile setting, documenting requirements in JIRA, and applying TDD/BDD practices while continuously improving development processes and code quality.

Formación

• 2–4 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, and SonarCloud.
• Knowledge of design patterns, architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Proficient in TDD, ATDD, and BDD.
• Secure development practices with SAST/DAST tools.
• Experience with Scrum and Jira management.
• Experience creating microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Development with containers and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong communication and collaboration; adaptable to changes.
• Willingness to learn new technologies in Spin's stack.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced software solutions.
• Document code and ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs for system integration.
• Define and optimize development lifecycle processes.
• Implement and manage container-based solutions.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Management and DevOps teams in sprints.
• Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements in JIRA.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements.
• Define clear acceptance criteria before development.
• Write and execute automated tests; document Test Case Coverage.
• Perform integration tests and verify joint functionality.
• Test usability and accessibility to improve UX.
• Maintain architecture and tool documentation.
• Develop tools/scripts to automate tasks and deployments.
• Follow data architecture guidelines for secure data handling.
• Deliver design documentation to the data team.
• Mentor team members; promote knowledge transfer.
• Implement version control with branching/merging strategies.
• Foster autonomous, accountable, proactive work culture.
• Serve as Spin Culture Ambassador promoting values.
