Brillio is seeking a Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize scalable Java services and microservices. You will build RESTful APIs, integrate with Kafka and gRPC, and ensure robust data storage using MySQL and PostgreSQL.

You’ll contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration. You will mentor engineers, participate in system design decisions, and tackle performance tuning across services and databases in a collaborative team environment in

• 2–4 years of professional backend development experience with Java and microservices.
• Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs and event/message driven systems with Kafka or gRPC.
• Strong design skills for scalable backend architectures, service orchestration, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with MySQL (and other databases) and ORM tools like Hibernate.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, microservices, and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect distributed systems for reliability and high throughput.
• Build service‑to‑service communication using REST, Kafka, and gRPC.
• Design and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend apps.
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Lead design discussions and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive performance improvements across services.
