BairesDev is seeking a Senior Data Platform Architect (AWS) to lead the assessment and design of a multi-pipeline data marketplace. You will define target-state resiliency, craft a roadmap, and guide a team of consultants and engineers through an impactful data journey.
The role emphasizes hands-on AWS lakehouse expertise, Iceberg, and modern data engineering with a focus on governance and performance in a remote, globally distributed environment.
Formación
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture with AWS.
- Strong expertise in AWS lakehouse architecture, including S3 and Iceberg.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg.
- Experience with Starburst or Trino.
- Proven experience with current-state assessment and roadmap development.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsabilidades
- Assess the current-state data platform, including pipelines, lakehouse architecture, and federated data access.
- Design target-state resiliency architecture for the data platform.
- Build a roadmap with concrete quick-action items for team ramp-up and execution.
- Collaborate closely with incumbent architects and consultants on the engagement.
- Critically review and correct AI-generated code as part of an AI-assisted SDLC.
