BairesDev is seeking a Senior Data Platform Architect (AWS) to evaluate a complex data marketplace spanning dozens of pipelines, a Bronze/Silver/Gold S3 lake, and federated datasets. You will design the target-state resiliency architecture and build a concrete roadmap for rapid team impact.

Join a global, 100% remote team of top 1% engineers, collaborating with seasoned consultants, owning the assessment and roadmap, and guiding an AI-assisted SDLC with pragmatic, scalable solutions.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture with AWS.
• Strong expertise in AWS lakehouse architecture, including S3 and Iceberg.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg.
• Experience with Starburst or Trino.
• Proven experience with current-state assessment and roadmap development.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the current-state data platform, pipelines, lakehouse, and federated data access.
• Design target-state resiliency architecture for the data platform.
• Build a roadmap with concrete quick-action items for ramp-up and execution.
• Collaborate closely with incumbent architects and consultants on the engagement.
• Critically review and correct AI-generated code as part of an AI-assisted SDLC.
