Global Connect Technologies is seeking an experienced Lighting DRE to lead exterior and interior lighting design programs in Mexico City. The role requires collaboration with Styling to assess feasibility, surface quality, and craftsmanship targets, while ensuring manufacturability of lighting components.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in automotive lighting design, strong CATIA V6 skills, and proven ability to work with Tier-I suppliers to optimize cost, mass, and performance.

Formación

• Good experience as a Lighting DRE (Min 3 years).
• Strong knowledge of automotive exterior lighting systems and key components.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in interior and exterior lighting design.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Styling team to perform feasibility studies.
• Check A-class surfaces and define craftsmanship targets.
• Create and complete lighting components and assess manufacturing feasibility.
• Design automotive component parts in CATIA V6.
• Collaborate with Tier-I suppliers on design projects, cost, mass, joining methods, molding, and testing.
