Corning is seeking a Mechanical Automation Engineer in Reynosa, MX to lead design and integration of automation equipment across global plants. You will collaborate with internal teams and external integrators to deliver on-time, on-budget solutions.

The role requires a mechanical or mechatronics background, 3–5 years' experience, proficiency with Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD, and the ability to travel domestically and abroad.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design, automation integration or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks) and animation tools to visualize concepts.
• Ability to travel domestically and globally.
• Excellent technical communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide process and mechanical design expertise for new equipment and improvements.
• Interface with external system integrators and machine builders to deliver integrated automation equipment.
• Participate in all project phases from initiation to production start-up and tech transfer.
• Ensure design packages meet Corning standards.
• Prepare technical specifications for automation equipment development.
• Collaborate with teams to solve automation problems and drive process goals.
