Sensient Technologies Automation Engineer role to strengthen our facility's automation and electrical systems. You will program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI, develop controls, and collaborate with process engineers, electricians, and contractors to keep operations reliable on the factory floor.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, hands-on experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs, NFPA 70 knowledge, and fluent English.
Formación
- Proven experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing environments.
- Strong NFPA 70 knowledge and NEC/IEEE/NEMA standards awareness.
- Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs and integration.
- Hands-on experience with electrical drawings, schematics and documentation.
- Fluent English communication required.
Responsabilidades
- Develop, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
- Design, update, and maintain electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation.
- Support AC/DC motors, power distribution, and site electrical infrastructure.
- Collaborate on controls modernization, equipment migrations, and project execution.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, controls, and robotic systems; root cause analysis.
- Research and implement new technologies to modernize electrical and automation systems.
- Maintain Arc-Flash models and ensure NEC/IEEE/NEMA alignment.
