Sensient Technologies is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. You will program and maintain PLC/HMI systems, design electrical schematics, and support site electrical infrastructure, working with process engineers and contractors to deliver reliable operations.

You will lead controls projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and stay aligned with NEC, IEEE, and NEMA standards while exploring new technologies to improve industrial automation.

Formación

• Qualified electrical engineer with manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 requirements.
• Hands-on PLC/HMI programming and integration experience.
• Experience with electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
• Update electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Support motors, power distribution, and site electrical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering on modernization projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical and robotic systems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Research and implement new automation technologies.
• Maintain Arc-Flash models and ensure NEC/IEEE/NEMA alignment.
