Edwards Lifesciences in Mexico is seeking a senior Information Security Architect to lead design, implementation, operation and maintenance of security technologies, enabling secure AI adoption across cloud platforms. You will drive scalable architectures and provide architecture guidance for enterprise initiatives.

You will mentor colleagues, coordinate with business units, and deliver security solutions through project lifecycles from architecture to documentation.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of information security technologies and scalable security architectures.
• Provide design and architecture guidance for enterprise security initiatives, system integration, and AI security.
• Serve as technical lead in the design and build of multiple cyber security controls and solutions.
• Design and maintain secure architecture frameworks and patterns for solutions.
• Deliver projects through the lifecycle from architecture design to installation, configuration and documentation.
• Act as a business liaison and advisor for one or more business units.

Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security technologies, including scalable security architectures that enable Edwards to securely adopt solutions including emerging GenAI technologies. Ideal candidates possess broad and deep technical knowledge in Security Solution Architecture, Cloud Security Architecture and in AI Security practice.

How you will make an impact:

• Experience with infrastructure security of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Provide design and architecture guidance for enterprise level security initiatives, system integration, and tools including into AI security domain.
• Serve as technical lead in design and build of multiple cyber security controls or solutions, processes and functions.
• Design and maintain secure architecture frameworks and patterns for solutions.
• Delivering and collaborating throughout a delivery project life cycle from project management and architecture design to installation, configuration and documentation of security solutions.
• Serve as a business liaison and advisor for one or more business units

What you'll need (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 8 years of previous related experience

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Experience and/or understanding of at least 3 cyber security domains (e.g., platform security, application security, network security, infrastructure, cloud security, data security and identity and access management).
• Strong experience in designing secure architectures for LLMs, generative AI systems, RAG pipelines, and autonomous AI agents across different vendor offerings.
• Knowledge of threat modeling with STRIDE methodology.
• Understand AI threats and mitigation techniques such as OWASP Top 10 AI frameworks.
• Understand mitigating supply chain risks and attacks for AI security solutions.
• Understandings of secure DevOps against AI-specific attacks.
• Experience drafting technical documentation
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer focused skills
• Experience drafting technical documentation
• Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization while applying broad-based technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines
