Corning Inc. in Mexico seeks a Senior AI Engineer - Cybersecurity to design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions for incident response. The role focuses on LLM-based applications, AI agents, RAG, and automation pipelines to help analysts act faster and more accurately.

You will integrate AI with SIEM/EDR, cloud services, APIs, and data pipelines while applying secure AI practices and human-in-the-loop controls. A strong programming background and experience with leading AI tools are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS, AI, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AI engineering, software engineering, data engineering, ML, or applied analytics.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, tool integration, orchestration, or automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills, preferably Python.
• Experience with AI/agent frameworks or tools and APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines, or enterprise apps.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity data or tools (SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud, threat intel).

What is your role?

As a Senior AI Engineer - Cybersecurity, you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that support Corning's Cybersecurity Incident Response Team. This role is focused on developing LLM-based applications, AI agents, RAG solutions, and automation pipelines that help analysts work faster, improve decision-making, and automate repetitive security workflows.

Major responsibilities and tasks of the position:

Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered applications for cybersecurity and incident response use cases. Build and improve agentic workflows that automate repetitive, high-volume security tasks and support analyst decision-making. Integrate AI solutions with enterprise tools and data sources such as SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud, APIs, ticketing systems, and threat intelligence platforms. Apply secure AI practices, including human-in-the-loop controls, guardrails, prompt-injection mitigation, access controls, monitoring, and auditability.

Key Responsibilities

What do you need to have?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in AI engineering, software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or applied analytics in real-world environments. Hands-on experience building solutions with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, tool integration, orchestration, or automation frameworks. Strong programming skills, preferably in Python. Experience with AI/agent frameworks or tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Hugging Face, or similar technologies. Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines, automation, or enterprise applications. Familiarity with cybersecurity data or tools such as SIEM, EDR, identity, network, cloud, vulnerability management, incident response, or threat intelligence platforms.
