Indigo Beam Consulting is seeking a hands-on AI Solutions Architect to design, build, deploy, and operate internal AI solutions on our cloud platform. The role blends technical delivery with business engagement and aims for production-ready AI systems delivering measurable value.

You will partner with leaders to identify high-value AI opportunities, own AI architecture from discovery to production, and drive governance and cost controls while collaborating with IT for security and data residency

Formación

• 5+ years in a technical business/solutions role (architecture, systems integration, or process automation).
• At least one AI/automation solution deployed to production and in use.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform.
• Demonstrated ability in prompt engineering and AI agents.

Job Description

Position : AI Solutions Architect

Experience /Level: Senior Individual Contributor |Architecture Ownership, 5+ years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on AI Solutions Architecttodesign, build, deploy, and operate internal AI solutions on our cloud platform.

The role combines technical delivery (~50%) and business engagement(~50%). You will work directly with business leaders and operationalteams to identify high-value AI opportunities, build production-readysolutions, and establish scalable architecture, governance, and cost controls.

This is a delivery-focused role, not a research role.Success means AI systems that are deployed, adopted, and delivering measurablebusiness value.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build AI agents,RAG solutions, automation workflows, and structured-data assistants .
  
• Own the AIarchitecture ,from discovery through production and ongoing operations.
  
• Integrate AI with ERP,document management, quality systems, Microsoft 365, and other enterpriseplatforms .
  
• Own AI costmanagement —estimate, monitor, optimise, and report usage and spend.
  
• Partner with IT on security,identity, access, networking, secrets, and data residency .
  
• Support Microsoft365 Copilot and Copilot Studio deployment, governance, and adoption.
  
• Run business discoverysessions and translate business problems into realistic,production-ready AI use cases .
  
• Present solutions to executives,subject matter experts, and operational users .
  
• Establish reusablearchitecture patterns, standards, and governance.
  
• Mentor and enable othertechnical staff as the AI capability grows.
  

Core Technical Skills:

Strong working depth expected in:

• Azure AI Foundry orequivalent cloud AI platform
• AI agents, tool/functioncalling and evaluation
• Prompt engineering and AIfailure handling
• RAG,vector/hybrid search, embedding and retrieval evaluation

Working knowledge of:

• Power Automate, Power Apps,SharePoint & Microsoft Graph
• Python & SQL
• REST APIs, serverlessfunctions, webhooks and workflow orchestration
• Databricks, Microsoft Fabric,Snowflake or similar
• Cloud security fundamentals:RBAC, managed identity, secrets and network isolation
• AI-assisted development toolssuch as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor

Business Skills

• Strong stakeholder managementfrom C-suite to frontline operations .
• Able to turn vague AIinterest into well-scoped business problems .
• Comfortable challengingunrealistic requirements and saying no where appropriate.
• Strong presentation,demonstration and communication skills.
• Able to build build-vs-buycases using real business and cost data .
• Comfortable managing SMEvalidation and accuracy reviews.
• Able to manage projectsindependently from discovery to production.
• Strong architecture andexecutive-level documentation skills.

Required Experience

• 5+ years in a technical businessrole such as solutions architecture, systems integration, businessanalysis or process automation.
• At least oneAI/automation solution deployed to production and still in use .
• Strong experience in at least onemajor cloud platform .
• Demonstrated experience with promptengineering and AI agents .
• Able to read, directand debug code .
• Proven experience workingdirectly with business stakeholders.
  

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience building a newAI/technology capability from the ground up .
  
• Operations, supply chain orengineering background.
  
• Experience with production AIgovernance and compliance.
  
• Full-Time, Remote position based in Mexico
  
• Occasional travel to US office (once per quarter)
