Job summary

Luxoft seeks an Android Applications Developer (Contractor) to build Android apps for automotive infotainment systems. You will contribute to end-to-end software development for OEM apps, integrating backend APIs and test automation to ensure production quality.

The role focuses on Java/Kotlin, performance, and compliance with car UX and safety standards, while enabling robust CI/CD and code reviews within an agile process.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Android development in Java and Kotlin.
• Solid fundamentals in OOP, multithreading and memory management.
• Production-level Android with modern architecture, testing and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build AAOS apps using modern Android components for in-vehicle HMI.
• Contribute to clean architecture and robust test suites.
• Implement data/network layers with REST APIs and offline support.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and basic test automation.
