ALTEN México, líder en ingeniería y tecnología, busca un Senior Android Automotive Developer para desarrollar, integrar e implementar aplicaciones Android en entornos automotrices y contribuir a la evolución de herramientas internas.

El rol requiere 5+ años en Android, experiencia en Android Automotive OS, Linux y CI/CD. Colaborarás con equipos multidisciplinarios para mejorar rendimiento, calidad y eficiencia en pipelines de desarrollo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree en Informática, Ingeniería de software, Electrónica o campo relacionado.
• 5+ años de experiencia en desarrollo Android (Java/Kotlin).
• Amplio conocimiento de Android SDK y desarrollo de aplicaciones móviles.
• Experiencia con Android Automotive OS, AOSP o Android TV/Tablet (2–3+ años).
• Experiencia en entornos Linux (Ubuntu preferido).
• Experiencia con herramientas CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab o similares).
• Buenas habilidades de depuración y resolución de problemas.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar e integrar aplicaciones dentro de entornos Android Automotive OS.
• Implementar funciones como conectividad Bluetooth, widgets y componentes de infoentretenimiento.
• Soportar la integración del sistema y la implementación técnica en plataformas automotrices embebidas.
• Realizar depuración y solución de problemas en sistemas complejos.
• Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinarios (software, electrónica, integración de sistemas).
• Contribuir a pipelines CI/CD y procesos de automatización.
• Optimizar rendimiento, escalabilidad y calidad del código.
• Participar en pruebas, validación y fases de integración.
• Documentar procesos, código y entregables técnicos.

We are currently looking for a Senior Android Automotive Developer to support activities related to the development, integration, and implementation of Android-based applications within automotive environments, as well as participate in the evolution of internal tools and processes to enhance development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate applications within Android Automotive OS environments
• Implement features such as Bluetooth connectivity, widgets, and infotainment components
• Support system integration and technical implementation in embedded automotive platforms
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting in complex systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (software, electronics, system integration)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and code quality
• Participate in testing, validation, and system integration phases
• Document processes, code, and technical deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Android development (Java/Kotlin)
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and mobile application development
• Experience with Android Automotive OS, AOSP or Android TV/Tablet (2–3+ years)
• Experience working in Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab or similar)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in automotive or embedded systems
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols
• Experience with C++ in embedded environments
• Experience in infotainment or connected systems
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot
