Job summary

MongoDB is building a new Technical Services capability in Mexico to support customers building, deploying, and operating AI applications on a MongoDB-based platform. This early hire will shape how we support customers, collaborate with Engineering and Product, and establish the team’s technical practices from the start.

You will lead technical investigations, own complex issues across application behavior, agent workflows, APIs, cloud infrastructure, security, and data services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building or troubleshooting agentic AI applications.
• Ability to read and debug Go, TypeScript, and Python services and agent workflows.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployments and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with REST/JSON APIs, OAuth/JWT, RBAC and service accounts.
• Experience using metrics, logs, traces, and monitoring to diagnose production issues.
• Distributed-systems troubleshooting across application, platform, and data layers.

Responsibilities

• Owning complex and high-impact customer investigations involving AI applications and agentic workflows.
• Leading structured investigations, root-cause analysis, and recovery across multiple layers.
• Leading investigations into agent workflows, tool calls, model-provider integrations, memory, and timeouts.
• Reading and debugging Go, TypeScript, and Python services; using logs, metrics, and traces to draw conclusions.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes and containerized workloads, including deployments and networking failures.
• Serving as a technical subject-matter expert for AI application support and distributed-system issues.
• Creating and improving troubleshooting methodologies, diagnostic scripts, and runbooks.
• Mentoring engineers in AI fundamentals, cloud-native ops, and customer communication.
• Partnering with Engineering, Product, Security, and other teams to communicate customer impact.
• Reviewing recurring issues to improve support processes and tooling.
