At AstraZeneca plc in Mexico, the Associate Principal AI Engineer will help build and evolve platforms, tools and infrastructure enabling AI and machine learning across the enterprise.

Collaborate with Data Scientists, DevOps and security teams to deploy production-ready ML solutions, optimize workloads, and ensure scalable, secure AI across the organization. This role blends software engineering with data science to drive impact in life sciences.

Formación

• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• Experience deploying production-grade ML products.
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks or willingness to learn.
• Experience deploying ML infrastructure with IaC.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Comfort with internal security standards.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to build platforms and tooling.
• Improve ML development environments and tooling within an Agile team.
• Collaborate with security, privacy and governance teams to secure solutions.
• Optimize ML workloads for distributed clusters and GPUs.
• Help productionize exploratory Data Science work into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to standards and best practices across ML lifecycle.
