Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship pipelines connecting to LLM providers and platforms, leading internal AI-driven initiatives that push the product forward.

Using AI coding agents to accelerate delivery, you'll maintain full accountability for the codebase while building agentic systems that reason, plan, and act. This is a 100% remote role with competitive compensation in USD or your local currency, plus hardware and software setup to work from home.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Python.
• Expertise in agentic system design, tool use, loops, function calling, and reasoning models.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Background working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, Bedrock; Anthropic experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship pipelines integrating with LLM providers and platforms.
• Lead internal AI-driven initiatives from concept to production.
• Build agentic systems involving tool use, agent loops, function calling, structured outputs, and reasoning models.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality.
