BairesDev seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship pipelines connecting to LLM providers, leading internal AI-driven initiatives, and building agentic systems that reason, plan, and act. This role emphasizes strong Java and Python engineering with deep agentic design expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Deep expertise in agentic system design, including tool use, agent loops, function calling, structured outputs, and reasoning models.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding as part of the daily workflow.
• Experience with MCP or AI agent orchestration frameworks.
• Background working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Bedrock; Anthropic experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship pipelines integrating with LLM providers and platforms.
• Lead internal AI-driven initiatives from concept to production.
• Build agentic systems involving tool use, agent loops, function calling, and structured outputs.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining full accountability for code quality.
