Johnson Controls International (JCI) is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our Data Science and Analytics team. This role focuses on designing and deploying scalable AI solutions, including LLM-based systems, to drive digital transformation across products, operations, and customer experiences.

You will lead the AI engineering strategy, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate model outputs into actionable business insights, ensuring secure, robust deployments.

Formación

• Education in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI engineering, data science, or ML.
• 1–2 years working with LLMs or generative AI technologies.
• Demonstrated success deploying ML and NLP solutions at scale.
• Proven experience with cloud AI platforms—Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Hugging Face, or AWS Bedrock.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement advanced ML models including DL, time-series forecasting, and LLM-based solutions.
• Develop use cases around enterprise search, document summarization, and conversational AI.
• Fine-tune or prompt-engineer foundation models for domain-specific applications.
• Evaluate and optimize LLM performance, latency, cost, and hallucination mitigation.
• Collaborate with data/ML teams to deploy scalable AI pipelines.
• Support retrieval-augmented generation architectures using vector databases.
