Johnson Controls International (JCI) seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join our Data Science and Analytics team. You will lead development and deployment of scalable AI solutions, including LLM-powered systems, to accelerate digital transformation across products, operations, and customer experiences.

You will mentor teams, shape the AI engineering strategy, and advance governance and model deployment in enterprise environments.

Formación

5+ years of hands-on experience in AI engineering, data science, or machine learning.
Experience with LLMs or generative AI technologies.
Proven deployment of ML and NLP solutions at scale.
Cloud AI platforms experience (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Hugging Face, AWS Bedrock).
Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with ML frameworks.

Responsabilidades

Design and implement advanced ML models including deep learning, time-series forecasting, recommender systems, and LLM-based solutions.
Develop use cases around enterprise search, document summarization, conversational AI, and retrieval-augmented generation.
Fine-tune or prompt-engineer foundation models for domain-specific applications.
Evaluate and optimize LLM performance, latency, cost, and mitigation of hallucinations.
Collaborate with data/ML engineering to integrate LLM-powered apps into scalable pipelines.
Support deployment with MLOps principles and robust monitoring.
Lead workshops to demonstrate the value of LLM use cases across units.
Mentor AI engineering teams and contribute to strategic roadmaps for generative AI.
