Job summary

Jeeves is the stablecoin-native banking platform used by global enterprises to manage cards, payments, treasury, and spend. We expect AI engineers to own full AI workflows from invoice to payment, integrating extraction, matching, policy checks, and ERP posting in production with strong customer focus.

We hire for relentlessness and a steep learning curve; this senior role is remote or hybrid from Mexico City and may involve an office visit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including end-to-end ownership of large software workflows
• 2+ years building and operating LLM/AI-powered systems in production
• Experience shipping LLM-powered applications via APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) with structured outputs and error handling
• Designing agentic or multi-step AI workflows (tool use, orchestration, human review steps) or RAG with vector DBs
• Strong Python skills and backend fundamentals (REST APIs, PostgreSQL, async patterns, cloud provider)
• Professional fluency in English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Own AI workflows End to End from problem definition through production and iteration
• Design agentic and LLM-based systems with extraction, retrieval, reasoning, and tool use
• Write design docs, assess build-vs-buy decisions, and set success metrics
• Talk directly with customers and internal finance users to understand workflow gaps and define done
