Job summary

Maersk is seeking a qualified Accounting & Reporting professional in Mexico City to manage month-end close, IFRS-aligned reporting, and internal/external audit support. The role emphasizes accuracy in balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, tax recording, and compliance within a global logistics group.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of accounting and reporting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years’ experience with accounting and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, financial analysis, and the audit process.
• Experience in control framework and IFRS (added advantage).
• Experience in SOP creation and control follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Record and validate taxes.
• Oversee month-end close and monthly accruals.
