Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join the GSC Americas team in Mexico City. The role focuses on collections, cash applications, and dispute management, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and accurate data in ERP systems.

Responsibilities include month-end closures, reviewing SOAs, and negotiating payment plans to minimize delinquencies. Requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in accounts receivable management.
• Experience with collections, cash applications, disputes, and payment plans.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel (Pivot Tables and formulas).
• English level at least B2+.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and collections.
• Monitor daily deposits and reconcile client accounts.
• Collect outstanding invoices and negotiate payment plans.
• Review Statements of Account (SOAs) and prepare management reports.
• Support month-end closures and reporting.
• Handle disputes and ensure data accuracy in ERP.
