Hireframe is seeking a Senior Accountant to build a robust reconciliation process and support accurate financial reporting. You will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and work independently and with teams to ensure audit readiness.

Key responsibilities include month-end close, cash flow reconciliation, VAT/ sales tax filings, and cross-functional data support for management reporting. Remote-first organization with international teams and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• CPA preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP accounting software (NetSuite a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, complex formulas, processing large amounts of data).

Responsabilidades

• Handle reconciliation of high-volume and high-value accounts (accrued sales tax, bank clearing, accrued inventory purchases and prepaids).
• Reconcile daily cash flow reporting and monthly bank statements; file and follow up on chargebacks and uncashed checks.
• Import credit card transactions and reconcile at month-end.
• Develop, document, and implement improved reconciliation procedures and policies.
• Ensure all reconciliations comply with internal controls and external audit requirements and provide documentation during audit.
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries (accruals, prepaids, amortizations, reclassifications).
• Prepare data for sales tax and VAT filings and reconcile related accounts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Sales to support accurate reporting.
• Supports special projects and ad-hoc reporting.
• Oversee and calculate royalty reporting for licensing contracts.
• Reconcile marketing costs and coordinate CPA calculations.
• Ensure revenue posting for Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Central, and other retailers.
• Collaborate with retail to ensure invoicing and oversee AR collections.
• Work with finance to analyze data and prepare management reports.
