Kontoor Brands, Inc. is seeking a lead Senior Accountant based in Mexico City to manage the monthly close for the Mexico sales business, including Wrangler brand operations. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure SOX compliance while supporting treasury duties in payables and cash management.

This role reports to the local Controller and will mentor junior staff, uphold internal controls, and coordinate with the corporate office on reporting and close deadlines.

Formación

• Must have a college degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or similar designation preferred but not required).
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong Excel skills; SAP S/4 HANA experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to the corporate office.
• Demonstrate ethics and integrity; lead by example within the accounting team.
• Coach and develop less-experienced staff.
