Job summary

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Treasury Accountant in Mexico City to support the Mexico sales business within the newly formed accounting and treasury team for the Wrangler brand. You will manage cash, oversee AP accuracy, and assist with monthly close journal entries with strong ethics and SOX compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years in accounting/finance, advanced Excel, and SAP S/4 HANA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or similar designation preferred but not required.
• 3+ years in Accounting or Finance.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Moderate to advanced Excel skills and data analysis.
• Experience in SAP S/4 HANA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute cash management activities with the company’s banks, as directed by the local leadership.
• Oversee the accuracy of Accounts Payable and manual payments.
• Assist with the financial close and record journal entries across multiple balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Display peak ethics and adherence to SOX controls in all actions.
