China Three Gorges Latam in Mexico City seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting and financial reporting for the company and its subsidiaries. The role supports strategic decision-making and strengthens internal controls.

The position covers core accounting and financial close tasks, tax, audit support, and ad-hoc analyses, collaborating with cross-functional teams within the finance organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or related experience (required).
• Experience with Power BI / Power Query / SAP HANA / CONTPAQi.
• Experience in the energy sector (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and GL activities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and external stakeholders.
• Support internal controls, compliance, and audits.
• Manage lease accounting under IFRS 16 (recognition of lease liabilities and right-of-use assets).
