Job summary

Dandy is expanding its global presence and seeks a Senior Accountant to own key close processes for US manufacturing labs and international entities. You will collaborate with Operations, Procurement, People and FP&A to close books accurately and efficiently.

The role focuses on prepaid and accrued expenses, intercompany entries, and consolidation, with opportunities to automate and improve controls across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years as a Senior Accountant or 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in an operational business: manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, logistics or multi-site operations.
• Strong grasp of US GAAP, accruals, reconciliations and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own prepaid, accrued expense and opex schedules, including professional fees, software and contractor spend.
• Prepare and post journal entries for the monthly, quarterly and annual close, with clear support for estimates, allocations and accruals.
• Book intercompany entries and support consolidation across US and international entities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences before close.
• Prepare flux analysis and explain monthly results to the Assistant Controller and FP&A.
• Trace coding errors back to source systems and work with system owners to fix them upstream.
• Document processes, accounting policies and controls to support annual audit.
• Prepare audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests.
• Automate manual close steps in NetSuite and related systems.
